Why PrivateMoment

More than a hidden album.

Your media and private context are protected together, while the app stays deliberately simple.

◉

Private camera

Capture photos and videos directly into the vault without first writing them to Apple Photos.

✦

Moments

Combine photos, videos, titles and notes, or create a private text-only Moment.

▣

Separate libraries

Keep independent Photos and Videos libraries alongside your Moments.

⌁

Decoy Vault

Set up an alternative vault with a separate passcode. Available as a paid feature.

◎

PIN + Face ID

Unlock with a 6-digit PIN and optional Face ID, with automatic locking and foreground privacy protection.

Privacy by design

No account. No ads. Your vault content stays out of analytics.

Photos, videos, thumbnails, titles, notes and vault contents are protected locally. Firebase Analytics is used for product-quality and feature-usage insights, without IDFA, AdSupport, Google Signals, or advertising features. Read the Security page for details.
